Simplified Process for Changing a Microsoft Partner for Enterprise Agreement Customers

21-01-2026 15:57As a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement customer, you work with a Microsoft Channel Partner who supports the Agreement. Over time, you may wish to switch to a different partner. Previously, requesting a partner change for an active Agreement required involvement from both the “old” partner and Microsoft. This process has now been simplified and can be completed directly through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or the Azure portal. Old and New Partner When changing channel partners, you end your relationship with the current partner and select a new one for the remainder of your active Agreement. A defined cut off date applies, after which the new partner becomes responsible for supporting you and managing the Agreement.
