Teams reunited with Microsoft Enterprise Suites
25-09-2025 20:29Due to a competition complaint in 2020 and a following investigation by the European Commission Microsoft decided in October 2023 (EEA/Switzerland) and April 2024 (rest of the world) to take Microsoft Teams out of their Enterprise Suites; Office 365 E1, E3 and E5 and Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. New subscribers could no longer purchase suites with Teams. Instead, they have to purchase a suite without Teams and a separate Teams. Now, a few years later, the European Commission (EC) and Microsoft came to a settlement. The outcome? The Enterprise Suites and Teams will be reunited, but customers will get a choice to purchase suites with and without Teams.
